Portraits that feel like you.
Personal studio portraits in The Hague โ made to be kept.
I have always been interested in people โ in what makes someone themselves, and in the moments when something real appears in front of the camera.
My photography can be quiet and intimate, spontaneous and observational, or carefully constructed in the studio.
What matters most to me is that the photograph feels genuine.
I donโt want to simply make someone look good.
I want to make a photograph that feels like them.
My background in documentary and personal photography strongly influences the way I approach portrait photography.
I take time to connect, observe and find the image that feels natural rather than forced.

Portraits to keep
A portrait can be a gift, a memory, or simply a way of keeping someone close.
I create personal portraits of children, teenagers and adults in my studio in The Hague.
The photographs can be made as a single portrait, a series, or as a portrait of siblings together.
After the session, I help you choose the image that deserves to be printed. The finished photograph can be made as a fine art print and beautifully framed โ something to live with, rather than another photograph that disappears into your phone..
A photograph to live with
I believe some photographs deserve more than a place on a screen.
The portraits I make can be printed on carefully selected fine art paper and framed as a finished artwork. A photograph of your child.
A portrait of someone you love.
Something you will still want to look at years from now.
Personal work
Alongside commissioned portraits, I continue to make my own work.
Documentary photography, personal projects and images made simply because something catches my eye.
This work is where I experiment, observe and explore โ and it continues to influence the way I photograph people.
